    Question Remote Tuning?

    Hey guys,
Tried searching but couldn't find what i was after.

I've got a mate of mine wanting to do a basic tune for him (turn off DOD and change shift points). Only problem is he lives 200k's away now.
How are some tuners offering remote tuning? I've seen some offer the customer to send the ecu to them but then what?
Can I just send him my MPVI2 unit, get him to download his base map and then send that to me. I then edit the file, email it back to him and get him to flash it?
Just don't know how keen i am to post the unit with my auspost track record

If they had a MPVI a lot use team viewer to control their computer and make the changes.

The whole mailing and waiting will surely take way longer to complete.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
