    2018 Shelby 755hp SuperSnake F150 dyno isses

    Guys,

we wanted to baseline dyno a new 2018 Shelby SSnake F150 but something is limiting power on dyno. No matter what gear we tried it remains the same with an ultraflat torque curve at 390 ft-lbs although boost and AFR are exactly the same as on street. Great power on street though...

best would be to dyno on 5th gear, rev limit kciks in slightly before speed limit in that case.

it feels like a dyno protection mode kicks in but torque source does not give any real hints and stays blank.

    anybody ever had that?

Call and talk to Jeff Tiller. The guy that does the tuning for the all the new stuff is actually a Ford engineer. According to Jeff he can't see the tunes anymore because the way they are encrypted. At least that's what he tell me. For them to do any changes, if they will, you would need their Tomahawk.

Whipple has a calibration update to address the limiting.

You need the latest calibration from whipple to address the throttle limiting.

Will putting it dyno mode take care of this? I'm having the same problem on a stock 19.
