    Erratic O2 mv readings not captured by scanner

    I have a Jeep JK with a 6.1L Hemi in it. I am having intermittent idling problems and now noticed that the O2 mv reading (not the sensors) is very erratic but when I save the .hpl file and relook at it the values are smoothed out. Two questions

    Why isn't the scanner accurately capturing the data and what might be causing this erratic reading?

    I've a vague memory of seeing similar and stopped using the generic O2 MV, using only the specific B1S1, B2S2, etc.
