Innovate SCG-1 Serial connection?

Has anybody had success with getting the innovate scg1 to work via serial connection? I have tried my best to search for an answer, but most threads I have found are about either the lm2 or lc1/2 and I am not sure if its the same. When I have tried to log it the channels just disappear; which I take as its not working. I am stumped because it reads great using the logworks software so I know the data is there I just can't seem to get it to work. BTW I am also using the new 4.0 release.

Mine works, I just configured it on lm -2 channel. If silt disappears you have to just close out the scanner and reload it.
