2014 f150 ecoboost trans torque settings

under trans-torque management- under torque reduction the master switch for shift reduction. is it best for a daily driven tune to leave it on ? ive seen a few posted tunes and some sct posted tunes on here and some have it on and some have it off. even ones that are supposed to be tow tunes have it off. just wondering the consensus on it. I assume turning it off prevents the trans limiting the torque during shifts? if so I would assume it would short the life of the unit no?

The general theory is to leave this on to keep the transmission happy and help it live a long life.

that's what I figured. ive altered the base tune but pretty much left the stock trans settings alone as they don't like hard shifts. I used a base sct tune file posted on here to copy the trans shift settings and it hit 2-3 way too hard for there liking.
