LT4 Connect and cruise pedal response lag

Hi all, I am a novice HP tuner (more like consumer lol) looking for a little guidance with a LT4 and a T56 Magnum that I dropped in a 71 C10. It is a connect and cruise package from GM. It comes with the ecm preprogrammed. For the most part I am pretty happy with the tune.
I am not having much luck getting the throttle to react quickly especially when I try to rev match for down shifting. I find the pedal quite laggy when I initially touch it. If I free rev it quickly sometimes it doesn't even respond at all. If I am at partial throttle and go to wot or accelerate aggressively the pedal responds fine. Which parameters would I look at? I can probably post the tune a log if needed. I appreciate any guidance.
