problem getting my EIO for wideband to work

    I have an LC1
    and HPT serial EIO
yesterday was my first time hooking it up as i finally got my wideband installed.
HPT would say that the historagram was not supported,
i left the histogram the way it was from the factory, and also tryied using the lc1 PID that was in there, nothing worked..

I had a fried who has the same year as mine with EIO (serial) and we took the pigtails and pluged it into his cable and laptop, it read the wideband so its not the wideband or wiring.

is there any setings i need to do to get my HPT to read the wideband or do i have a bad cable, as far as i could tell our settings on the scanners were the same.

You have to add the LC-1 PID to your table before it will work if I'm not mistaken. (the one under Aux, WB02, LC1) It took me a minute to get mine to recognize it, but I added the PID, saved my config, closed software, unplugged cable, plugged it in, and started scanner and it recognized my LC-1. I haven't had any problems since. Good luck.

You need to have both the LC-1 in the correct EIO input on the table, and commanded AFR PID for the histogram to work.

Yeah all of that stuff is in the help files that are installed with VCM Suite.
Hit the F1 key and the help files will open with information about whatever screen you have open.

Now you need to add AFR% or somewhat to compare.
Down load att is taking forever
    Then check your offset
