    Standalone Track Addict

    Hello Everyone,
I searched through this forum and didn't see anything related to my question so I'm sorry if I'm asking a repeat question. I'm looking to build a standalone device to run Android and Track Addict on a Raspberry Pi. Has anyone ever tried to do this? Is there any reason why it wouldn't work?

    Thanks!

I've been wanting to do something like this, but last I heard, the Pi touchscreen wasn't fully working with Android yet. It's possible that my information on that is out of date.

In theory, it should otherwise work if it's Android 4.1 or newer (best experience is on 6.0 or newer)... you'll want to have Google Play Services installed in order for the maps functionality to work, and also so that you can easily download the app from the Google Play Store.

Let us know how it goes if you give it a try!
