2015+ 8HP70 TCM tuning w/o PCM unlock?

Can the TCM be tuned on the 2015+ cars without unlocking the PCM?

I realize that I can't access engine side TM or rev limiter until the PCM is unlocked.

I'd like to put TRACK trans settings into the SPORT drive mode so I don't need the Tazer for SRT drive modes.

Application is 2016 Scat Pack A8 Challenger.

Yes, you can tune the TCM without sending the PCM for unlock first. Simply read just the TCM with VCM Editor, license the TCM, and tune away!

Note: If the vehicle is MY 2018+, you will still need the Smart Access Cable to tune the TCM.
