    deleting VATS

i am having trouble with the vats

all i found from a search was to go to -system-general-vats-" none " Is this correct?

i tried that and when i rewrite it goes down the list saying "complete" then gets to VATS and says "failed" i have tried a couple times with the same results.

this is a transplanted motor so i dont have a bcm or anything , the truck will start and die after about a second

    any help would be appreciated

Sounds like a Ken/Chris Question if my suggestion doesn't work...

Turning VATS off by setting it to None should have fixed the problem. Try re-reading the file from the PCM & see if VATS is truly turned off (None) in the system section. Just a good double check...
