Track Addict and Autocross

I tried to use it today but nothing recorded. I have an Acer tablet, Qstarz 818xt gps and GoPro Hero3+. I had it set to Segment. I got green lights for GPS and EXT Cam then walked to Start line and tapped Select Track, Add New Track, Set with GPS or Map, Set Point Here then went back to previous screen, walked to Finish line and tapped Set With GPS or Map button there and had co-ordinates for both start and finish lines. I attached tablet,gps and camera to the car and pulled up to the start line. I did not press any buttons, was I supposed to? I thought it would auto start when I crossed the start line but that didn't happen.

There is a red ?record? button on the bottom of the screen. Press that when you pull up to the start line. Recording will start once you start moving. Press any ?button? EXCEPT the red ?start? button to stop recording.
