I finally had a chance to hook the tuner up to my car and when I did it came back saying that my car is a 2000 camaro with a different VIN number. I have a 2002 Camaro SS LE. I had the car dyno tuned a few years back and apparently he changed the VIN. What do I need to do to get the VIN number corrected? I can't even get in to tune the car because I bought the tuner for a 2002 model year. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
First off, where are you located? I am sure someone local to you with HPTuners that has support for your situation would be glad to help you out.Once you have a good 2002 bin back in there, you should be able to just correct the VIN back to your car.
So the previous tuner changed the OS from 2002 to a 2000, very smart!
