    Original MPVI Question

    Hello all. I have a buddy who has the original MPVI interface and I want to borrow it and tune a car. Other than me buying the credits, is there anything else I am going to need? I have already downloaded the VCM suite software.

    You will need interface number and application key, when you purchase credits it will email you a new application key, with the new credits added.

    I am guessing the interface number is on the MPVI itself? Also, will it affect anything with his installation on his laptop, or will he be able to use it like normal when I return it?

    yes it is on the interface, he will need the updated app key for his software, which he would get via email then have to give to you anyway so you can use the credits on the tune.
