    Incorrect gear ratio code won?t shift

    I recently put a 3.91 in my car from a 3.06 now it?s throwing a code and won?t shift. I literally rode home in whatever gear 50 mph at 3.5k rpm. I changed the gear ratio and tire size via scanner and nothing.

    What year, make and model vehicle? Have you opened a service ticket? I went through something similar that HPT couldn't resolve. I used my Diablosport handheld to set my gear ratio and it worked.

    HP tuners changed mine OK, 2.65 to 3.06, just didn't go far enough into the systems for some reason, so I have no ACC/FCW. People say that Diablo is the way to go for gear changes.

    Yeah I ended up using my diablo as well. That sucks spend all this money on hp tuners still need diablo . Glad I never sold it.
