Histogram Help - MAF vs Dynamic Air

I want to log MAF in g/sec and compare it to Dynamic Air in g/sec. I've been messing with the histogram this morning and can't get it display anything.

I'm thinking I should be able to get something similar to the default MAF histogram that's labeled 'MAF - LTFT' but instead of logging LTFT it'll show dynamic air in g/sec and instead of the x axis being Hz it'd be in g/sec. Can this be done?

cant see why not post up a log.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

it would be something like this but you'd need a custom calculation PID

Hey thanks Bill, I actually sort of confused myself after I posted this thread, had to re-ask myself what exactly it is I'm trying to accomplish, but the example you posted helped me out with a crash course in how histograms work.

I ended up doing something like this:
    http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7100
...which ended up being a custom PID of [PID.16]-[PID.2320] which I used with a Primary_VE_vs_RPM_vs_MAP table, this gave me the difference between the MAF and Dynamic Air in lbs/min.

It was interesting to watch, under slow throttle transitions I could see MAF and Dynamic Air match pretty closely, but if I moved the throttle too fast they would vary. Upon further investigation it looks as if the VE table is off which I verified by loading a 1barSD tune, disabling the LTFTs, and watching the STFTs. I had previously tried to get the VE dialed in but this is a 00TA so just using the secondary VE table and then trying to copy over to the primary didn't work out so well.

so do you need help with the custom pid/histogram any further or are you cool?
