Unable to open file. Incorrect file header. Why?

I just made some scans and modified some tune files on my laptop. I used the HPTuners memory stick to transfer these to my desktop and this is the message I get. Unable to open file. Incorrect file header.
Both have the same OS. Same version of editor and scanner.

Any idea how to fix this, or what's going on?

I'd check the memory stick for errors (drive>properties>tools).

Well I can also transfer a scan file from May along with the scan files from this month. The one from may works fine, the ones from this month don't open.
    Two different memory sticks also.

I also transfered from my laptop to the memory stick back to my laptop and there are no errors.
