Unlocker Timed out

I hit the read and it read fine, made 1 small change to ecm and it worked, made another change to write to ecm now it just says FAILED! Unlocker timed out everytime, didnt do anything different but change PE as is the first time the same.
It also wont load to scanner at all! But went to my Tahoe and it worked fine.. I never touch any wires,plugs, connectors or USB so why the errors now?? Help!!
I'm stuck like chuck!! Novice user..
