    2007 & 2008 Trailblazer SS ECU

Does the 2007 and the 2008 TBSS have the same ecu? Read that they may use an E67, is this the case for all TBSS's?

    Thanks for the help

    2005-2006 is E40.

    2007-2008 is E67.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

06 TBSS is E40 as mentioned above, first year for the TBSS.
07-09 TBSS are all E67, 07 to 08 has a half-step jump and 09 is its own special snowflake. I've had a little success putting an 08 OS on 07 hardware, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you needed to just get home.

    Why would you not recommend?

I ultimately want to put an 07 OS on 08 hardware, or swap 07 hardware to an 08. So that I can have boost enrichment. Any thoughts?

I ran 07 OS in my 08, it never felt "right" even though everything was the same as the 08 OS. Find an actual 08 ECM and use that, or heck go to the 09 OS for the higher IFR limit.
