Configuring Pin 57 for "higher pulse rate" for aftermarket speedo
Any help is appreciated...
Here are my speedo parameters. I can get a signal to my speedo if I set to Serial but it will not properly decelerate to zero. It will decelerate very slowly compared to actual speed, then stall between 15-20mph, after I stop, it will the finally just plummet to zero. Speedhut has tested the speedo and says it works properly (although I think it also accelerates too slowly too). They also said "seems to be a low pulse signal so by the time you stop it takes the gauge a second to realize that you have stopped". I clarified that they meant the number of pulses when they said "low pulse signal". I have searched and searched but I can't seem to figure out how to increase the pulses in HP tuners without screwing up shifting.
Note: this is on a 6L80 (A6), using pin 57 for speed signal output to speedo.
