Will I need an updated O.S?

Getting ready to install an A&A V7 YSi on my 2016 C7. Am i going to have to update/modify my O.S.?

I know we had to on older PCM's but have not heard much discussion regarding the new ones. Or is it because the option for forced induction is already there for the ZO6?

I guessing at the least i will have to change my MAP?

    Thanks.

There are no OS upgrade for those computers.

You can extend the VVE table if need be, it should show up to 3 bar.

If you actually want to know what boost you are running, which you should you need to install a 2-3 bar MAP sensor and change the linear/offset settings.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    Getting back to this,

I have the sensor installed. I'm unclear on what you mean on offset. I thought I was just going to extend the range.

    Can you elaborate?

    Thanks!

The map sensor settings you have to adjust...

He means changing the scaling for the map sensor in the tune so that the ECU has the correct value. I like to use the ZR1 red label sensor. It has settings of 312.5 linear and -11.25 offset.

you can verify you have the correct settings by looking at your map reading with engine off. Should be your atmosphere. ~100 for sea level.

you can leave min at 10kPa, and change the max.

EDIT- sorry, forgot I was in Gen5 for a minute there. I dunno- no experience. I would assume the config would be the same if you kept the same sensor position relative to the other stuff (even though it still is labelled as "NA"). No real clue though, my Gen5 knowledge is zero.

Yeah that is what I'm trying to figure out. Mine is set to NA-TIAP. I changed the linear and offset as mentioned above without changing the MAP estimation and at key on engine off it's at 40ish. Have not been able to get back to it,been too busy. I will next week though.

Ok so I have the ZO6 red map sensor installed but when I put in -11.25 and 312.5 I get a return of 75 kPa even though my house baro is right at 100. Living in Houston 100 should be spot on. Is there anything else that might give a false offset in the scanner because I know this is not right. OR do they vary the voltage span/range??

Are you logging more than 1 map channel?

That can cause it to read wrong.

Got it..somehow my offset was off.

Been in and out a lot lately and had the wrong offset in it. Might just clear up my small idle problem as well.......was about 10 kPa off.

    Thanks
