ECM's are getting much more complex and unlike earlier vehicles new vehicles often have ECM, TCM and additional modules that we support as well. LS1 ecm's we offered roughly 500 tables for, E92 I believe is closer to 1000 tables. More work, added costs on our end.

If you send support or sales an email we can give you a list of what vehicles are found under that group, I don't have it handy at the moment.
That mean if I were to purchase 6 credit for the category of Unlimited Year/Model GM or Universal Credits, it's only good for that engine and year of 1997 only and would have to purchase 6 more credits(listed on website for example) for each year (98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03) which brings total of 36 credits for the remaining years?

Correct, hence the reason why it makes more sense to opt for the 30 credit gen 3 truck v8 license in cases where you know you'd be doing alot of the same vehicles but across several different years.

    Hi there,
I have 2 credits for my 2012 SRT8 Dodge Charger, do I need additional credits for changing/tuning the transmission part? And if I do, is it going to be fast, I saw it is online, but does it matter if its on working days or weekend?
    Sorry for the stupid question

    Thanks

Not likely, I believe the 2012 Charger tcm doesn't require any additional credits unlike the 2013+

2Note: 2017+ GM 8-Speed and 10-Speed Tranmission Control Modules require unlock via HP tuners GM TCM Unlock service before tuning.

Is this an extra charge to have the TCM unlocked?

    What is FSCM?

    Yes, it costs money.

FSCM/FPCM is the fuel pump control module.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

You can open sales/support ticket and we'll be happy to provide you the list.

Unfortunately we do not offer discounts on credits, sorry.

10_4 will do. Again thanks. wanted to ask as I seen under your Credit FAQs it states as follows.

    11. What are Bulk Credit Discounts?
HP Tuners offers discounted rates for large credit purchases, the more credits your purchase in a single order the higher the discount. Discounts of up to 38% are possible. Bulk credits discounts are especially applicable to tunershops looking to get support for a large amount of year/model licenses or packages such as GenIII V8 Car/Truck or V6.

For current details of the credit discounts please see the online Credit FAQ page.

if your moving enough product to justify the complete buy ins, then i suggest contacting them about becoming a dealer. There is buy ins involved, but there are price point breaks as well
