Can VE STFT tuning be done properly with HPT PRO built-in logging and NO laptop?

Can I load/install the proper channels in the Pro MPVI (same channels that would be used when STFT VE tuning with a laptop) and record while driving, then just open them later in my laptop and apply to my tune file? Would anything be missing, or is there any downside?

I would STRONGLY recommend getting your battery issue squared away, last thing you want is the battery failing mid flash...
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

I drive to work an hour each way and want to use that trip for tuning. So you're saying it will work otherwise?

A battery is like twenty dollars at the most. Get yourself a new battery. You can't afford a new battery?
