    Can someone verift this??

I'm working my VVE table and am having an issue. As i go through calculating my coefficients and cam angles, after a few cycles the numbers start going INSANELY high.

This can't be right. Is this a software glitch??

I'm copying the table from the scanner, highlighting the VVE table and multiplying by % then hitting calculate. Again after a few cycles this happens.

I have tried it with the stable copy and BETA and the same thing happens.

    Thoughts?

Just so im clear, is not after each scan. I do 1 scan and start adding the scanner error to the VVE table at Cam angle 0,paste special by % then hit calculate. Then Cam angle 1 paste special by % hit calculate...etc.

Did you set the cam to 20 degrees in the example? I would post the stock VVE tune , then the log you ran with it and then the updated VVE table using the error data form that log. You said you added the error, it is supposed to Multiplied by the percentage.

I don't see how you got negative numbers unless your Error Graph is incorrect....

Yeah pretty much the same here.

    Mowton,

I was under the impression that you had to adjust all the tables 0-20 for open and closed switch.

As it sits, most of my error is showing -10 to -20 ish on my graph. I'm copying and pasting special multiply % by half. Timing is around 18*. I'm just doing idling for now. My MAF settings look real good, trims are -2% steady. Got it a little better by adjusting my idle toque reserve by a few ft/lbs. But it's air related for sure, my plugs are black.

My concern is my table does the same thing, showing crazy values like it's taking the counts instead of the avg.

It may be a day or 3 before I can post it up.

And no I did not load that....lol didn't even save it.

    Thanks.

    Update:

I will be a little while longer. My YSi came in the other day and have it tore down at the moment and am waiting on headers as well.

    Can someone clarify this.

When I do my VVE correction I am taking my values from my scan chart, copying it,pasting special multiply % by half open/closed switch then calculate. Now each time I change to a new camshaft angle I'm taking my graph errors and doing the same 0------------>20.
I think I have also read somewhere that it is done by taking your scanned error, pasting special, multiply % by half open/closed switch then calculate and then taking the VE table and copying that onward.

Also I have a large cam that has a phaser limiter installed 4* is all it will go. Would I even need to go past the 0* in the first place??
