Thread: Credits Transfer Question

    Credits Transfer Question

I own an MPVI1 interface with 4 vehicles licensed. If I upgrade to the MPVI2, can I have 3 out of those 4 licenses moved to the MPVI2 and leave the one license on the MPVI1 interface? See example below -

    How it is right now;
MPVI1 - GTO, Camaro, Silverado, Corvette
    MPVI2 - None

Move the GTO, Camaro, and Corvette licenses to the MPVI2. Leave the Silverado license on the MPVI1. so it would now look like this

    MPVI1 - Silverado
    MPVI2 - GTO, Camaro, Corvette

    No.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Bill, what's the turn-around from moving licenses from MVPI 1 to MVPI 2?

Thanks. So all of the credits have to be moved to the new MPVI then?

Not an option we currently offer.

Yes, that will be the only option available when upgrading.

I thought you send in your MPVI 1 and they put it on the MPVI 2

That would be the upgrade, which isn't yet available.

Bill when you first listed the MPVI2 for sale you/ the company listed that if bought it out right you would be able to do the license swap at a later time and get the pro features (when available) at no cost when sending back the Pro MPVI 1. Since then that information has been redacted or move. Is this still accurate info if you buy out right @299?

We have numerous clients that were originally tuned on the "shops" MPVi1. And some are asking why the previously purchased credits can't be moved to their newly purchased MVPi2. They want and are looking forward to the Pro version so they can datalog to their android device.

Are they simply going to have to buy credits again? I'm sure they won't be very happy about that. Especially the guys have had to purchase 8+ credits to do there 17+ GM builds. If the money has to be spent, that's fine. But we need an explanation of why this can't happen. Or from now on we have to sale them their own MPVi2 interface from the start?

They should be using their MPVI1 to tune vehicles they previously tuned using their MPVI1, very simple.
