    2016 Camaro Fuel pump Voltage

I have a 2016 Camaro 2ss A8 with the zl1 low side in tank fuel pump. I have been seeing where a boost a pump is being installed to increase voltage to increase pressure. I came across an article that stated HP tuners can now increase voltage via tuning. Is this true? If so how and where is this found in HP tuners? Would you be able to command a higher normal voltage then as you go wot raise the peak voltage currently in the stock tune? That way you don't get the fluctuations. Also be able to use zl1 pump more affectivly.

You will have to license the fuel pump module in order to make any changes to it.

I have already done that. I was just asking where and what needs to be changed and if it is even possible.

i am going with trade secret quiet. Even the shop I used barely mentioned unlocking the FPPM and said they rarely tune it on their builds. This was when I was adding a PC D1SC to my 2017 Camaro SS M6 1LE and was offering to put the LT4 high side fuel pump and injectors in the car with the hope of avoiding using meth injection.

ECM program - systems, general, then change
    - diag sys voltage low 12.5v
    - diag system boost voltage 14.6v
    - diag system boost max 10min (change this to minutes)

    Fuel System - max desired pressure if you need more pressure I have 81.2 (0-222.2), 80.9, 79.3, 77.2, 74.3, 72.5 (277.8-444.5)

I assume all the parameters are already changed for the ZL1 low side pump? ECM & FSCM modules?

I just looked a 100% WOT log that I went from 1st-5th gear and pressure was 64 -67 steady and peaked at 81 when I paddle shifted the A8.
Hi Side was still at 2,932psi & 6,479rpm when I shifted into 5th gear.

Camaro6. Do you have lt4 injectors and hsfp along with the zl1 intank pump? I pulled a stock zl1 tune and looked at fuel pressures you use, and they match the zl1 settings. I have zl1 intank pump and a 38% fuel lobe cam. Stock injectors and high side.

Sorry, just noticed the post. Yes LT4 inj, hopfp, and zli intank. stock cam, no fuel lobe.

No issues with the pump running the extra volts?

Last 2 items to the right are 15.8v, to the left of it 15.5v (pretty sure stock was 15.5v all the way to the right) It's been awhile and not in front of my tune currently to check. I just know what to change when doing it in front of me. I did bump my HPFP setting up a bit with the cold weather and E85 fuel I do run at times. Depending on what you're doing, injection timing plays a role as well.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. Is what you have above what the settings should/need to be set at to use the ZL1 low side pump on an Camaro SS? I am getting ready to install mine and am hoping not to have to pay my tuner to get me set up correctly to run the ZL1 pump if at all possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don?t install a ZL1 fuel pump put in a Boost a pump and change your fuel pump duty cycles to 100%. You?ll be into over 700rwhp WITHOUT the bandage known as meth.
