    Understanding Injector Flow rates

    Hi All,

I know this may be a noobie question but could I get an explanation on what determines the Low and High fuel flow rates.

So far I understand that the Low Flow is basically idle and part cruise throttle High Flow is WOT.

I have xspurt 1000cc injectors... having trouble finding the factory data for these. Based on the ID1000 table all I can see is aprox 1015cc/min @ 58psi is what I should be working too. But how to calculate what is the High and Low slope from this.? I need to add fuel as im currently running lean...

Any helpful tips would be great.

Ok so done some more digging this afternoon. I now found the ID characterisation tables for Ford. Seems to have answered my questions from earlier.

So now just so I've got it clear in my head. To richen the AFR I lower the Number in the Hi/Low flow table.??

Yes lowering the injector slope numbers adds fuel and raising the numbers takes fuel.
