    Idle tuning 2012 mustang 3.7

I just got my swap completed enough to test drive. The engine is really slow to drop RPM when I let off the throttle. I tried some settings that were recommended in another thread (dashpot at .75) and I had an issue with the idle hanging at 2000 RPM. I switched the settings back to stock. I?m not worried about tuning much else on the car before the next race except this issue.

I have no tuning experience so any and all help is appreciated.

Make sure you set the torque decel switch to disable. It's under Engine>Idle>General.

I disabled the torque decel switch. Now the RPM drops faster but it drops below idle now. I know I need to make adjustments to the dashpot but am not sure what does what.

You don't need to mess with the torque decel switch. I have it ON in my V6 turbo project and it idles just fine. You need to work on your airflow.

    What mods? Post a tune...

Zero mods so far. Stock everything. I’ll attach a tune when I get on my laptop.

Zero mods and problems? Seems to be something not tune related.

The problem was slow decel. Now the problem is the rpm drops below idle too far.

Your problem is not tune related - they decel quite normal in stock form. You need to revise your swap - not sure what you did there but fixing other problems with a tune is not going to work.
