Evap readiness for a GM E-Rod LS3
Hi, I plan to use an E-Rod LS3 engine in a kit car build. The GM E-Rod package is emisssions legal for swaps into older cars and I am looking to use if for a kit car which from an emisssions standpoint is a little bit of a gray area.
From what I understand it has the purge solenoid on the engine, but lacks the gas tank pressure sensor and canister solenoid.
What would I expect the results to be at an emissions station that is doing a full ODBII emissions test. Would the Evap System show up at all, would itbe in a not ready state. Would it actually pass emissions?
If It would not to pass due to EVAP being incomplete, Is there something I could do with HP tuners to set the flag as ?not ready?.
Any input on this topic would be appreciated.

if it does set a evap code.in the engine diag section of hp tuners. go to that code and only select "no error reported" for that code. leave the SES enabled box checked so it will go through readiness to pass inspection but will not the code and made the check engine light come on.
