    I'm not sure if this is relevant in the HP Tuners format or not, but this is from another user posted in a different thread:

    Typically, Ford DTC's are as follows:

    0 = Disabled
    1 = No MIL
    2 = 2-trip MIL
    3 = Instant MIL
    5 = 1-trip MIL
    6 = Selectable 1 or 2-trip MIL

    I've noticed that setting many of the tricore and newer dtcs to zero doesn't give you the desired result. It would be nice to know what 7,8, and 9 represent.

    i think it might be the severity of the code im not sure all the important data like fuel pressure and engine over speed are at high class types possible telling the ecm to shut the truck off in these conditions and for less severe the types are like 3 which maybe means reduced power or limp and 2 and lower just look like normal sensors
    I'm not sure don't quote me on his but like i said it does seem as if the higher the severity the higher the class and as far as hpt that may be why they arent anwsering the question ya know cause those codes may be used to change some stuff that we are not allowed to change but im not sure im just stating im quite possibly wrong lol
