Does LS2 have a predicted airflow table?

Does the LS2 use a predicted airflow table like the LS1? I have a customer with a H/C car we did a couple years ago that another shop tuned. The customer tried to install a cold air box after the tune and the car went into a reduced power mode. We have seen this with the LS1 when the mass of air exceeds the predicted and raising this table solves the problem.

I was looking through a stock C6 LS2 tune and don't see where I can change this value. Now what?

    Thanks

    Chris,

do you mean go under the DTC tab and turn both 068 MAP/MAF Throttle Position Correlation and 0121 TP Sensor Circuit Insufficient Activity to "no error reported"?

Does this kind of supercede the LS1's P1514??

    Thanks

no on the Engine Diagnostics, General tab you will see two coolant temperatures and an RPM value that will disable all these tests

    Chris,

I tried a few different things and can't get this thing to stop going into reduced power mode.

I changed the min ECT for P101,P106 and P0121 to 250 and lowered the max ECT to 100. I also raised the enable rpm to 7000.

Before I made any changes the car was popping a 1516 and a 2101. I also tried disabling the enablers with no luck. Now what?

    Thanks

    Howard

please email the file to support, these codes are throttle position correlation issues (ie. the measured throttle position is not within a certain tolerance of the commanded position). Has nothing to do with airflow related estimation.

    Cheers,

OK..........................sending it shortly. I this a big issue? It only happens when the aftermarket air box is installed. The stock air box has no issues.

    Howard

What is the address to support?

    [email protected] ??

I thought you wanted me to send you the current file in the car.

I believe I tried changing those two enablers to "not report" and turned off the SES. Is this correct?

    For P0068
MIL on 1st error; change this to No error reported; correct?

    For P0121
MIL on 2nd error; change this to No error reported; correct?

How do these enablers correspond with the 1516 and 2102 codes?

Can we be maxing the MAF's range?

in post #5 above you said you disabled the P0068 RPM and the other two coolant enablers for P0121 etc. The file you sent did not have them disabled.

Also, please apply the MAF patch to the vehicle, under "Operating System". Note you need to do a write entire to apply that one.

I tpld you I thought you wanted the starting root file, not the one I had made the changes in.

I will again disable those enablers and try it again. I already re-writed the patch by going into the OS tab, selecting "Patch 15000" and doing a re-write. What exactly is that doing?? Extending the MAF range??

Anything else needed when doing the "patch"?

I appreciate your assistance as I have not used HP that much let alone the 05' LS2 stuff.

    Thanks

    Howard

GM's programming had a bug in it that would cut fuel if you hit the maf upper limit if I understand it correctly.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    Chris,

Still having issues with the car. I sent you another file that shows the 0068 and 0121 deleted and using the 15000 patch OS. Can you please look at it and let me know why this is continuing?

    Thanks

    Howard

Settings should be like this for virtually all LS2/LS7 combos:

So it?s only been 14 years, but I have an ls2 with a ported throttle body that sets a p2176.

When it?s not in reduced power mode it works amazing, but if you gently just tap the pedal it goes into reduced power mode.

Anybody ever come up with a solution to getting around this?
