    Camaro SS LS3 Nitrous Timing

im in the process on installing a nitrous kit on my camaro ss. mods are night fury cam, e85, long tubes, full e85 and full exhaust.
right now with the N/A tune i know timing its advance. question is how much timing should be removed for a 150-175 shot. timing at the moment is 25.5'. i know with e85 since its better than 91 octane you need less timing removed. how much timing should i start with? -4, -5? fuel pressure is 60psi. at high rpms (5k-6700rpm) it drops down to 50psi. pump duty cycle is at 90%. i also have the zl1 pump. any advice is welcome. thank you

I believe its 2 degrees removed for every 100shot so maybe start with 4 or 5 degrees removed to start

I believe its 2 degrees every 50hp. I would pull 8 degrees to be safe. make a pass and pull the plugs and look at the strap.

Even for e85? I know with gas its 2 degrees per 50 shot but e85 shouldnt it be less? And afrs safely at what range should they be at? 11.5? 12.0? At the moment on the n/a tune its set at 12.5-13.0

well yeah you can probably get away with removing less but why not be safe about it first just to make sure nothing bad happens
but whats going on with the fuel pressure dropping situation - that shouldn't be so id say before anything make sure the fuel system can handle the nitrous - FP should remain at 58psi

Oh okay i see what you mean. And thats whats worrying me too. That at high rpms it drops down to 50psi. Duty cycle is 90%. Was thinking on putting it at 100% so pressure would stay stabled and go from there.
