    2 questions.
    1. If I send my MPVI pro in to upgrade to MPVI2, will it now be ship back with all the pro features and pro link cable?
    2. If all my licensing and unused credit are transferred over , do the credits become universal credits?
    Thanks

I'm just getting around to be tuning again. I have an MPVI Pro now and want to use the pro link cable for O2 datalogging.
I've read through several of the posts but I do not see a clear answer. Do I:
    - Order the MPVI 2 Pro and it will come with the pro link cable? I see some posts about the cable not being available.
    - I do not want to send in my MPVI 1 until the pro link cable is available.
Is the pro link cable available? Otherwise, I am guessing from the FAQ, That I could just order the new MPVI 2 now outright and then when the cable is available, I can send my MPVI 1 in and get the credits transferred and have the pro cable shipped to me. Will I need to send in both my MPVI 1 and MPVI 2 in to have the credits transferred and to get the Pro Feature set for free?

    Do I have this correct?

I am using prolinks two available inputs, but would like to add some additional analog sensors to the canbus? Is there anything available to do this? Seems like the expander hub would, but I don't think it's available and may never be. Anyone using something different to get additional analog sensors on the canbus. Are people using Arduino for this? Can you daisy chain the prolink? Thanks in advance.

Stupid question. I am trying to write to a '15 Challenger R/T and its saying I also have to buy credits for the TCM, I tried to bypass the TCM cause I don't want to flash it. Do you also have to buy credits for the TCM if I am just trying to flash the PCM?

No, just remove the TCM calibration from the .hpt file(done in the tune details window in 4.8 and newer software versions) or you'll need to read the ecm again and just opt for do not read in the TCM drop down.

I currently own the MVPI Pro and am looking at upgrading to the MVPI2+ pro. What is the cost for upgrade? I am seeing the $189 but that does not show the Pro features but I had read that if I already have Pro, I get it automatically. I also see the upgrade to the Pro feature but it is $439... is this the upgrade from a non-pro MVPI?

If you have an MPVI1 pro and UPGRADE your device you get the pro feature set free of charge.

It looks like it's $299? But I'm not sure.

Unless there is a different page for existing customers looking to upgrade?

You should've emailed us immediately after you had your MPVI2 stolen, the process would've been very simple.

In any event please open a support ticket and we'll be able to assist you further.

I currently have the MPVI2 and would like to upgrade to the 2+. I was under the impression the upgrade fee was $189 (could've swore I read that on the site), but when I initiate the process, it shows $289 in my cart. Is this right, or is $100 refunded once I return my current unit - like a core charge?

Prices went up a couple of months ago.

Wow. So in order to have an interface with the functionality that we expected from the MPVI2 when it was released (bluetooth, stand-alone…etc) we now have to spend basically $600, whereas if we’d just waited for the fully functional 2+ model it would be $400. I thought the $189 upgrade fee was a little bit of a slap. Now it’s $289. No thanks. Not what I would call taking care of your existing customers. As a matter principle, I will not be upgrading. Poor business practice HPT.
