Just got word from Braden that 2019 Mustang GT Whipple support was added to the latest BETA... PCM needs to be re-read with latest beta to apply patches, so will try to get the customer's car back in here this weekend and will post up the patched file!

Edit: Braden@HPTuners says You will have to reread the tune with the 4.3.103 beta or newer in order for it to open.

Here's a patched and working 2019 Whipple 10R80 read... need the latest beta, 4.3.140

    PATCHED_2019_Mustang_GT_10R80_WHIPPLE.hpt

Quick diff compare against 2018, and quite a few tables were changed. Will see what happens when I get it on the dyno. 2018 Whipple tune without changes @ ~11psi on California 91 made 708rwhp

Got the latest F150 calibration, but still running into torque management issues, and while the shifting is vastly improved over the previous calibration, until the torque management is resolved, not very enjoyable driving... fixed some of the issues on the dyno but ran out of time.... most of the time was spent on a couple mustangs testing out parts.

One test worth mentioning though... 2019 Mustang GT with 10R80, and California piss ass 91 octane.

    Started with the stock 3.875" pulley, managed 573lb/ft @ 6000 rpm, and 715hp @ 6800 rpm ~12psi.

    Swapped in a 3.5" pulley and pulled 600lb/ft @ 6100 rpm, and 760hp @ 7200 rpm ~15psi. 100lb/ft more torque @ 2500rpm, 90 more @ 3000, 70 more @ 4000, etc...

IMO, this is a super cheap upgrade, and is 91 octane safe. Still had plenty of injector, pulled 2* timing from the 1.80 rows. Obviously more power could be made with better gas, but we're happy with the results.

    Good info.

Can you post a log showing the torque management you ran into on the f150?

Here's a log that showing the TB opening and closing while doing a pass on the dyno. Torque source stays DD, and Spark Source shows a little Tipin, but stays Borderline without hitting Torque Control. The other logs I have from yesterday are really long, rolling on the throttle, I can post those up too if anybody wants them.

Torque plots on the dyno look like rolling waves...with a huge drop and spike ~3000, exactly how TM looks on the GM stuff, like the trans downshifted.

Apologies for not logging all the Torque and Throttle sources. Had only intended to do baseline pull and then a pulley swap

Yep, log all of those and lose the mapped points that are not enabled in the tune

Sorry, "2018+". I google searched for 2019 Whipple F150 Tune and this thread was all I found. I'll make a separate post. Thanks.

Resurrecting the thread. According to the Supported Vehicles page, I need to purchase 4 credits with the MPVI2 in order to tune a 2019 Mustang 5.0. Does that also cover the TCM as the car I'm working on has the 10R80.

    Thanks!
