Only external camera

Hi there new to the trackaddict app! Had a browse through the forum and can?t seem to find the answer.
Is it possible to just record on external camera? Wanted to use the app for timing and camera sync but I didn?t want to use my phone to record video? Thanks

Yes, just tap on the video quality box that's on the camera preview screen, and in the camera selections that pop up, you'll have the option to turn it off. Any external camera control that you have setup will work independently of this. As usual, the external camera footage will remain on that camera rather than appearing in the app, so you'd then use RaceRender on your computer if you want to create data overlays on it.
