Vcm connectivity issues HELP!

Vcm suite will not read,write or scan.
This unit is only 4 days old, worked great for one read and 3 writes as well as 6 logs.
Several messages reading
-Unable to detect vehicle protocol (on read )
-locker timed out ( on write )
This car still starts and runs but without a road worthy tune.

(2009) DODGE CHALLENGER SRT8
NGC4

All up to date drivers and software 4.0.12
Power to OBD is good
No blown fuses
Battery is fully charged
2 other hand held scanners work on same port
Battery disconnect for reset
Sent two tickets to HP ( still waiting for response )
Anyone with experience with this issue ease advise

Problem solved
Had to wipe out update 4
0.12 and install Bata
