    TCC lowering mph

Trying to get my converter to lock up at a lower mph. It is locking up at 60 right now. I did check my tire and gears on the wizard. They are correct and my speedometer on the truck and the scanner match. I have been playing with the release and apply. Before it would unlock if you gave it any throttle at all. Now it stay engaged like I want but just need the speed correct on it. It is a 4l80e 3800 stall with a HD transgo in it. I got it shifting good. I 'm still tuning the motor so I have not been able to get on it to see how hard it shifts in performance mode. The motor does have a pretty big cam if that matters. Thanks in advance.

Make the changes to your Trans Rev/mile. The way you had it, the calculated tire size was only 19.59 inches tall.

Will that make my speddo wrong? Right now it is dead on. I put the 27.09 in the wizard for the tire size. Before I had it screwed up and reading a 34" tire.

No, it won't affect the speedo. It is for the speed that the trans shift points are based on.

3,839.9412 is what my tuner has in it. What should it be for a 27.09 tire?

That is weird, when I open that tune it says 3,839.9412 but it said something else on his. What should it be?

    Brah.

The picture is post 3 says 2,776.8163.

    Give that a whirl......
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.
