Exporting Speedometer only

I got some footage where I only want to use the speedometer from and not the actual video.

The idea is to take the speedometer and place it onto another video clip.

Sure I could mask the speedometer out, but this would be simpler.


Is it possible?

What type of camera are you using. Is your data file separate from your video file?

It?s a GoPro Hero7 Black. So, no. It?s embedded in the video file.
But that?s no problem. The software detects and extracts it.

I can of course just delete the video but then I have to mask out the speedo manually. I was hoping for like an: ?Export speedo only?-option.

Once the data is extracted then just replace the video with the one you want.

If I understand correctly, you just want the speedometer and you are using another video editor. So long as you can do chromakey green in your video application, then put a green shape, Style Green Screen, full screen in front of the video so that all you see is the instrument(s) on a green background. Export the video. Import into your video editor, apply chromakey green and whatever is behind it will be seen instead of the green.
