What Fuel Pressure and MAP Sensor to use with HP Tuners

I would like to log fuel pressure and boost and I am curious what sensors you recommend. Do they need to be 12 volt or 5 volt? Can the HP tuner power them?

fuel pressure and MAP sensors are 5v, you can use a 12v to 5v step down convertor to power them using a 12v source. Then use their analog output to connect to Analog 1 and 2 ports on your MPVI pro. Add the analog 1 and 2 to your channel list then define them using the transfer function for the sensors you are using. Same process you'd use for logging a external Wideband, they're 0-5v

You can get an aeroforce 12v map sensor for boost and send the signal in directly or you can get a regulated 5v power supply to use the 5v sensors. Check aeroforces website they have both.

Just look at some of the pressure math settings in the Scanner drop down menus. GM2bar, GM3bar etc for examples of the math used.
