02 switch points

I'm working on tuning a car for some better gas mileage and have been tossing the idea around of changing my 02 switch points to run a little leaner in the cruise areas will this net me any kind of gain and are there any other tips out there i know you could also lock up the tcc a little earlier as well thanks
