Bricked TCU?

Halfway through writing a file yesterday to my TCU, I got a failure message. Laptop was fully charged, car battery charger was attached and there were no connection issues, just ‘write failure’. I have this fault code:



I cleared the codes, disconnected the battery for about 30 minutes, reinstalled the latest beta version of VCM suite and re-synced but still see this:



Because it says ‘Pending, Permanent’ I’m wondering if there is anything that can be done to re-establish communication with the TCM. I submitted a ticket with HP Support yesterday after it happened and am waiting to hear back from them. Any help would be appreciated.

Update: HP Tuner’s Support fixed the problem. All is well.
