New To HPT Not New To Tuning. However the Differences from the Software I'm used to and HPT has me feeling Like a Noob.
I have been running Many searches for 3 days and no help so far. (I maybe using the wrong terms when searching)
Anyway I have LM7 from a 99 K1500 5.3L installed in a 1989 K2500.
the LM7 was 4L60 But now I Have it connected to a SM465 4-Speed Manual
the truck was built in the early part of summer during temps in the 80's truck ran great all summer.
only problem was when setting up the ECM every time we set the Trans type from 4L60 to Manual the truck would Not run over 1650 RPM.
we ended up just setting it to Non- Electronic Auto.
However the temp in the area has dropped into the 40's and 50's and the truck No longer seems to have the power it did.
it has also taken to chugging when driven in 3rd (4th really as my First is a L and is 6.55 Ratio).
under 1500 RPM it shakes the truck Bad 1600 to just over 2000 it can be felt but but its just in the background like if you didn't know it was there you wouldn't really feel it. but at 3200 the truck smooths out and gains a lot of power. The feeling of the switch from under 3200 to over 3200 is felt again at about 4800 but is far more powerful then the switch at 3200.
here are the Specs from the Stock ECM

I have a .HPT file from a 2002 k2500 6.0L that is a Manual but if I understand what I have been reading the OS is what controls the way
the ECM scales the fuel and Spark Tables.
If Im Missing something please let me know. also if one of the 3 HPT files would be a Better Starting point over the other please advise.
