    2015 Mustang Coyote Pats Disable

Hello guys I am trying to figure out if you can disable pats on a 2015 or newer mustang yet. I know you can with the 11-14 stuff but didn't know if the 15 and newer was available. I just hate to buy the control pack if I don't have to. Thanks for all the help.

AFAIK you can disable PATS on 2015+ ecm's.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Really? I though only the 2011-2014 copperheads could disable pats. 2015+ had to be physically send to Brooks to do something secret thing that no one want to share.

That would be great if you can. Is there any way to really find out ? All the help is greatly appreciated. I would rather buy this than the control pack if I can.

Not to sound like a broken record but just want to make sure if I do go the hp tuner route that it will work. I know on the 11-14 pcm that you had to send off the pcm for the tuner to do something. That is great if that is all you have to do. Has anybody tried on a 15 newer car to see if it works? Again thanks for all the help.

I did a Auto swap on my car. I had a 2016 Mustang GT manual transmission. I put a 2015 PCM in the car. I have to disable the PATS in order to get it to work.

Have you already disabled pats on the 15 pcm? Was all you had to do was just click the disable pats tab in the tune? If it's that easy I will be buying hp tuners very soon.

Guys thanks for all the information. We are having conflicting information on what you can do. Can we get a definitive answer what will work and what will not. This will help everyone else that is in the same boat as me. Thanks for all the help.

Message Eric Brooks, he offers pats disable service ie you need to send him the ecm in order to do it though.

I will probably have to go that route. I was really hoping that I can get the software and do it myself. Why does the software list as being able to turn it off if it does not work? Sorry for all the questions just trying to learn as much as possible.

Ford made it more complicated in the 2011+ applications, not as simple as setting the switch, there are actually ALOT of other applications that are similar in that we cannot disable vats on them so its not a huge exception.
