    Stock 2017 6.2 L86 with a OEM LT4 Supercharger

    Hello HP Tuners,
This is my first post. Im working on a prject of mine in which ive installed a Stock 2017 6.2 L86 with a OEM 2017 LT4 Supercharger.
Currently it has the ICT high rise adaptor for sc clearance.
I installed a 12644807 3 bar map sensor at the rear driver side of the blower.
I wired the entering air temp sensor into the 12644807 map sensor.
I have relocated the Water temp sensor in the side passenger side engine block.
I have wired the bypass valve into pinout 71 on x2.
I have added shorty headers on the engine.
    I am running a 6l80E trans
All other components are all stock on the sc and l86.
I have tried running a 2017 z06, 2017 ss, zl1 Camaro, and a ctsv tune and my set up doesn't seem to like any. They all ran extremely rich to the point plugs are completely fouled. Ive made adjustments in the fuel tables. The l86 oem injector rate is 118 lbs. After making all types of adjustments here it still runs horrible.
Does anyone have a tune that would get me headed in the right direction for this type of set up?

First, I don't have much experience tuning supercharged GEN5s. Lots of guys on here with way more. But since you asked, "thoughts?":

    L86 11.5:1 compression ratio
    LT4 10:1 compression ratio

The reduction in timing and/or boost needed for the extra compression is HUGE!

    L86 injectors 20cc/sec
    LT4 injectors 25cc/sec

25% less fuel than the LT4 injectors. Stock L86 injectors will be out of fuel even at low boost levels. 118 lbs sounds like a lot but the DI motors have a very narrow injection window compared to port injectors.

I guess people supercharge the L86 but the chances of destroying it with boost seem pretty high. I really hope for the best for your combination.

Look up Andy Mages at lsa conversions. It is where I purchased my complete kit to install on a 2017 Silverado.

Did you ever figure out how to run it smooth

A lot's changed since all of this was originally posted. It's possible to have full throttle control with cam movement and everything now on these when correctly tuned and setup. Such as for correct throttle calcs you need to wire in a lt4 map and have it be the temperature input into the ecm. Technically I'm told that if you're running the factory bypass controller it's even possible to keep that when wired up correctly on pre18' year models, but I don't think I would go that far with it.

It's better to do the lt4 injectors, but the stock high flow l86 injectors (there are 3 different l86 injectors) will handle about 6psi.
    2010 Vette Stock Bottom LS3 - LS2 APS Twin Turbo Kit, Trick Flow Heads and Custom Cam - 12psi - 714rwhp and 820rwtq / 100hp Nitrous Shot starting at 3000 rpms - 948rwhp and 1044rwtq still on 93
    2011 Vette Cam Only Internal Mod in stock LS3 -- YSI @ 18psi - 811rwhp on 93 / 926rwhp on E60 & 1008rwhp with a 50 shot of nitrous all through a 6L80

When you say Ran the different tunes from various LT4 vehicles. Do you mean you did a flash entire???
Or just copied the settings over?

Did you Install the SCIAP sensor when you did this conversion?
The LT4 OS's will not run right without a SCIAP sensor.

I recommend running the stock Base Calibration.
    And add the SCIAP sensor.
There is a Throttle Rate Table that I provide that along with the pedal progression table that should along with the fixes for SCIAP make a LT4 converted L86 very happy.

Then from there, Tune MAF/VVE/VVT etc...

There has been a lot more churn on running Superchargers on previously NA motors since 2018.
