Help: 2004 Durango 5.7 not reading
Hi, I have a 2004 Durango 5.7 that won't read in. The SW sits at the point were you're supposed to cycle power. Can anyone confirm the correct benchtop programmer pinouts?
At Battery-on Key-off I have power on Pin C1 29 ONLY
At Battery-on Ignition on, I have power at the following pins: C1: 12, 30, 11, 29.
The software instructs me to cycle ignition for 3 seconds. I assume that means turn OFF C1 12, 30, 11 and then turn them back ON.

I have the same problem with a 2004 Durango PCM. My bench tester had no problem with a 2004 Ram PCM or a 2010 Ram pcm. Iv'e tried two different 04 Durango PCMs and got an error message. Your pinouts look OK except pins 12 and 29 should have constant power.

I found the solution. You need pins 25 36 and 38 on C-1 connector. Pin 25 goes to pin 12 on the data link connector. pin 36 goes to pin 7 and pin 38 to pin 2. You don't need pin 30. C-1 pin 29 is constant 12v. C-1 pins 11 and 12 are switched 12v. I've read 3 different 04 Durango PCMs with this set-up and it works fine.
