    2007 lsj with ls4 throttle body

    first edit injector rescale tb scalar 4100 closed loop 32.hpt
    18-11-18 19-43-23.hpl


    Have a 2007 s/c lsj that the customer just put an ls4 tb on and im having issues with throttle dropping out when you stab it. Its perfectly smooth up and down if easing into it but if you stab it, it falls on its face and surges, then picks up. Ive adjusted the etc scalar to get the throttle movements to smooth out which has helped a bit but it still does it. Thanks for any help

    mods on the vehicle?
    a few things stand out are ...
    you gotta get those fuel trims in line better having it running that rich isnt helping the the surging any - read up on tuning maf and tuning ve - i run maf only plus i out run the ve chart by 3k anyhow - i found maf only helped stabilized idle for my particular build - ve is tuned just don't care to run it
    change the area scaler to 4950 it'll help alot and you may have to lower the effective area max/min numbers and mess with coastdown spark as well - my lsj is cammed zzp stage 3/ported head,tvs 2.8 much more with ls4 tb and i run a scaler of 5650 with effective area max/min of 30/20 but just change the scaler at this moment before you mess with the max/min
    double the misfire counts in engine diag for revolution and cylinder ( i have them disabled on mine) along with lowering down the cot temp (2334) - i found these tables (misfire and maxing cot temp) to tell the ecm to perform a post 02 test which will command random afrs at idle randomly - so dumb lol
    change idle spark to 10 across the board - your high octane chart to me needs some work - you can run so much more timing down low than you have atm - i have a good 60's starter file if your interested - pm me

    2.8 pulley
    60# injectors
    Ls4 tb
    Stock blower
    Zzp 3in intake
    Mid length header
    Full 2.5? catless downpipe and zzp catback
    Has wideband and interceptor gauge
    And has an hp tuners tune on it already
    Full boost in first like it that way
    Heat exchanger
    Intercooler pump is working lol
