    Engine size mis-identification (3.5 TT V6)

I have an 2013 Lincoln MKS with the 3.5 Ecoboost. It's basically a Taurus SHO.

I started making changes using the guide on here from metroplex (thanks for writing that up!). Right away I'm running into differences with the tables I have. I'm missing many of the things that need to be changed. I'm wondering if it's related to a problem with hptuners reading my car's engine.

When I connect, it IDs the engine as a "2.5 L, 4 cyl". But when I go into VCM Editor, it recognizes that it's 3.5 L. Could the editor be displaying 2.5 L parameters??? Here is what I am seeing. (says 2.5L in one place and 3.5L in another)

That does look odd. You can contact [email protected] and they might be able to help you figure that out. Also just to make sure you’re aware, the newer versions of vcm editor may have the same or similar tables just under a different category. You can try searching for the table ID from metroplex’s guide and seeing if the table shows up and has just been moved to a new location.

Thanks. You hit the nail on the head. I went and compared my old (slow) laptop with version 3.6.26 to my new one with 4.0.12 and the tables are very different. The old version matches metroplex's guide.

I'll see if I can load the old version on the new laptop.
