    Dakota Digital Tachometer hookup

Any of you guys know how to hookup and configure a Dakota Digital tachometer to the E92?

I found the information that X2 pin 39
is what to use for the tach signal
but unsure of what ppr this provides and how to configure the tach (Dakota Digital)?

I can't find anything in the programming (HPTuners) to turn on or change anything like on the older ECU's

    Hoping for some insight...

Dakota Digital has a good tech support phone line. They should be able to answer you.

The only way I could get my tach to work is use a lingenfelter can bus module, it works great.

We used the Dakota Digital CAN/OBD II interface module (BIM-01-2) with a LT4 and E92 ECU. Connects to the OBD connector and uses CAN data for the tachometer as well as any other signal output to the CAN Bus by the controller.
