2003 cobra tuner needed!!!!

ok guys took my sons car to have it tuned on the dyno and after 2 hrs the car would not start had to tow the car home after 3 weeks In their shop. I need someone to help me figure this car out. I have bought the mpvi2 and hp tuners software. the car is highly modified just want it running. let me know thanks

Try reading the vehicle and see what happens. If they were tuning it with HPT, it may have bricked the ECU. I have had this happen twice now on the EEC-IV. It is recoverable, but you'll either need to have an IDS to reflash it or use another program like BE to push a stock tune back in it. IDS is best; with BE there are some issues with the VID block that has some side effects.

the first EEC V i did went into theft mode basically and dashed the mileage out and would not start until i had licensed the vehicle and flashed the tune file back into the vehicle. scared me to death but hpt support got it figured out and i havent had that issue again. if they read the file, it may have actually "pulled" the tune and may have to be licensed and written back in with their setup before it can be helped. Or like jchambers said, do the reflash to stock.
