    High Idle after Troqhead upgrade to LS2 1997 Camero SS with LT1

    Everything worked the first try but it idles at 1200-1400. I know I blocked the vacuum line for the old Opti at the the manifold. I capped the big lines on the top of the exhaust manifolds so the coils would mount on the rocker covers. I taped the inlet to the air pump. What have I missed before I dig down to the intake? Thanks everyone. I have got to say that torqhead makes nice stuff. They made me some extension plugs so I could move coil #1 out of the way of the intake snorkel for the SS hood and one for the #8 so I could move it out of the way of the A/C lines going into the bulkhead..

    If TB is cracked too much it can do this, scan and look at TPS volts ans Throttle percent.. I do a lot of these lt1s with lsx computers..
    Could also adjust fuel instanting with vcm controls, lean it out and see if it idles down and or increase fuel and see if it idles up.. if it does you have a vac leak..
    Typically if IAC goes to 0 pretty quick and stays there with a high idle you have a vac leak

    What ECu?? Just seen ls2 part... if DBW no iac or instant fuel change (you will have to write tune)
