License tune and car for new unlocked pcm?

I purchased an unlocked pcm for my 15 hellcat instead of sending mine off. sent the stock file but now I have the pcm installed I downloaded the file from pcm and it is different from the stock file. spent several hours making changes and now it says I don't have a license for this file. Do I have to have more credits for every file written to car if its not the original file? how do you get the file licensed?

    thanks,
    scotty

Are you sure its not asking you to license the ZF8 TCM file?
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Does it say that if you do a read entire without selecting the transmission read?

This a common thing on the GM side when the TCM or FPCM is involved. If you choose to read just the PCM/ECM itself it will work again.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    I will try that thanks.
if not I will just have to change the stock file and write over the file that came in this pcm I guess.
